Y/project Collaborates With Multimedia Artist Frederik Heyman

Paris based fashion brand Y/Project has collaborated with Belgian multimedia artist Frederik Heyman on a Kamasutra-inspired Fall Winter 2019.20 accessories campaign.

Directly inspired by the brands jewelry collection, the campaign explores our desire to overcome humanity by staging digital characters with mechanically induced movements.

In my work I start from 3D scans, and create digital installations in a virtual environment. All the bodies were 3D scanned at first, and were comped in together afterwards in big mechanized set ups. The Y/PROJECT accessories where also 3D scanned, and partly 3D modelled. – Frederik Heyman

The artist uses the innovative technique of photogrammetry to stage digital world, mixing the video, installations and photography, in a digital altered environment.
